The short version
Your character is yours. It lives in your own browser unless you sign in and save it to the cloud on purpose. We count which parts of the editor get used so we know what to improve, and we take an email address if you want an account. That is the whole list.
What is stored in your browser
The character you are building is saved to your browser’s local storage, and its artwork to a local database in the same browser. None of that is sent anywhere. Clearing your site data deletes it, permanently and immediately — so export anything you want to keep.
What is stored on the server
- Usage counts. Which actions happen and how often — “edited cards”, “exported a mod” — with a random id your browser generates for itself so we can tell one person from ten. No card names, no character content, no IP addresses, no device fingerprinting, no third-party analytics. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted at all.
- Your account. If you sign in, your email address, so we can send the sign-in link and attach your saved characters to you.
- Cloud-saved characters. Only the ones you save while signed in. Stored against your email.
- Payments. Handled by Stripe. Card details never reach this site; we keep the customer reference Stripe gives us.
Who else sees it
Nobody. Nothing is sold, and there is no advertising or tracking network on this site. The services that run it — hosting, the database, Stripe for payments, an email provider for sign-in links, and the model provider behind the optional AI generator — process data on our behalf to do those jobs and nothing else.
Getting rid of it
Delete a cloud-saved character in the editor and it is gone from the server. For your account and anything attached to it, email spencer.stiles12@gmail.com and it will be deleted. You do not have to explain why.
